- Temple History Sri Venu Gopala Swamy Temple, Mangalampadu is a well-known Krishna temple dedicated to Sri Venu Gopala Swamy, the divine form of Lord Krishna playing the flute. The temple is located in the village of Mangalampadu, in Sullurpeta Mandal, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, and is situated about 13 km from Sullurpeta town. The temple is regarded as one of the oldest Krishna temples in the region and is currently maintained by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams). It continues to be a major spiritual landmark for local residents and for devotees from nearby villages and towns. The temple hosts an annual Brahmotsavam, celebrated with procession of vahanams, special poojas, devotional events, and cultural programmes, especially during Krishna-related festivals.
