- Temple History 25 Kms from Sattupalli in Khammam District. This is 800 year old temple. Kakathiyas constructed this temple. This temple is in very huge space and there are 4 Raja gopurams on 4 sides of the temple. Around 1286 , annapureddy senani of Kakathiya kingdom construted this temple. One specality of this temple is Venkateswara swamy along with Sridevi , Bhudevi are on eka sila(single stone). Towards end of 18th century one of the devotee of Swamy prayed him for kids. swamy asked to renovate the temple . AFter the renovation he blessed with kids. From 1969 onwards temple is under Endoments deparment.In 1974 then Chief Minister Jalagam Vengal Rao developed this temple. In the main temple oppsite to main temple, there is garudalwar temple. There are special pooja performed on Saturday.All poojas are performed as per vyshnava sampradayams. There is Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy Temple also present in this premises. There is old well in this temple. Water from this well is used for Abhishekam. ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలోని సత్తుపల్లి నుండి 25 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఈ ఆలయం ఉంది. ఇది 800 సంవత్సరాల పురాతన ఆలయం. కాకతీయులు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఈ ఆలయం చాలా విశాలమైన ప్రదేశంలో ఉంది మరియు ఆలయానికి నాలుగు వైపులా నాలుగు రాజగోపురాలు ఉన్నాయి. సుమారు 1286వ సంవత్సరంలో, కాకతీయ రాజ్యానికి చెందిన అన్నపురెడ్డి సేనాని ఈ ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఈ ఆలయం యొక్క ఒక ప్రత్యేకత ఏమిటంటే, శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవితో పాటు వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి ఏకశిలపై (ఒకే రాయిపై) కొలువై ఉన్నారు. 18వ శతాబ్దం చివరిలో, స్వామివారి భక్తులలో ఒకరు సంతానం కోసం స్వామిని ప్రార్థించారు. స్వామి ఆలయాన్ని పునరుద్ధరించమని కోరారు. పునరుద్ధరణ తర్వాత ఆయనకు సంతాన భాగ్యం కలిగింది. 1969 నుండి ఈ ఆలయం దేవాదాయ శాఖ ఆధీనంలో ఉంది. 1974లో అప్పటి ముఖ్యమంత్రి జలగం వెంగళరావు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. ప్రధాన ఆలయానికి ఎదురుగా గరుడాళ్వార్ ఆలయం ఉంది. శనివారాల్లో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. అన్ని పూజలు వైష్ణవ సంప్రదాయాల ప్రకారం నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ ప్రాంగణంలో ప్రసన్న ఆంజనేయ స్వామి ఆలయం కూడా ఉంది. ఈ ఆలయంలో ఒక పురాతన బావి ఉంది. ఈ బావిలోని నీటిని అభిషేకానికి ఉపయోగిస్తారు.
