- Temple History This temple is constructed in 11th century. One of the ancient temples which was built in the river Krishna(built near the main temple which submerge during rainy seasons), has no Pooja performed daily except on Shivratri. There are two beautiful Nandi idols infront of this temple and deity is swayabhu by Chandra(White stone lingam)). The main temple is near to river Krishna and priests perform Pooja very well. Muktheswar, Sri Chakra sahitha Bhavani matha, Chennakeshwara Swamy are the main temples in the temple complex. One can do holy dip in the river and can go for the Darshan to these 2 temples. Pooja stores available near the temple.
