- Temple History The Varaha avatar is famous among the Dashavataras. According to the , in Varaha avatar, the Adi God saved this Bhumandalam, which was caught in the flood, on his fangs. There is only one such idol related to Varaha avatar in our Telangana state. It is located in the Kamanpur mandal center of Peddapalli district. The special thing about this place is that the idol grows every year. The Varaha avatar is famous among the Dashavataras. When the entire universe was submerged in water, the demon Hiranyaksha wrapped Bhudevi in a mat and hid in the ocean, in order to save her, Mahavishnu took the form of Adivaraha and killed Hiranyaksha. He protects Bhudevi. This is the third incarnation of Adinarayana. This is a sign of the evolution of the life cycle into a complete terrestrial animal in the execution of the work of creation. There are very few temples for Varaha Swamy in our country. Adivaraha Swamy idols are seen in only two places in our Telugu states. One of them is in Tirumala, Tirupati Devasthanam and the other is in Kamanpur Mandal Center of Peddapalli District. Varahaswamy receives the first pujas in Tirumala. According to legend, when Lord Srivaru came down to earth from Vaikuntam in search of Goddess Lakshmi at the beginning of Kali Yuga, Varahaswamy gave him shelter. In return, the devotees visiting Tirumala promised that they would visit him only after seeing Varahaswamy. After the Varahaswamy temple in Tirumala.... Again, the idol of Adivarahaswamy appeared on a rock in Kamanpur, Peddapalli District. Historically famous and a direct manifestation of divinity, a large number of devotees come from Telugu states and other states to have the darshan of this Swami. Growing idol: Varala Siddhiga.... The Swami appeared in the form of a small mouse on a rock towards the east of the district three decades ago. Since then, the idol has been growing steadily. Another rare thing is that hair is visible on the idol that is perched on this rock. The footprints of Lord Adivaraha can also be seen on another rock nearby. However, this is actually a direct form of the god, as per the inscriptions. Abhishekams, archanas, and special pujas are performed at the place regularly. Sthalapuranam: If we examine the Sthalapuranam, it is said that 600 years ago, a sage was doing penance at this very place when Adivaraha appeared in his dream and wanted to know the sage's wish. The sage, who was deeply engrossed in devotion, said, "Sir.... You should stay here and always protect them from any harm and provide them with all happiness and peace," and the inscriptions say that Lord Adivaraha appeared in a rock. Varala Swamy: For the past 50 years, this Swamy has been regularly worshipped and anointed. Devotees call him Harala Swamy. It is said that those who fulfill their vows here will be granted boons, which is why it has gained the name Varala Swamy. In the past, while the Singareni organization, which is located nearby, was leveling the ground with a bulldozer to develop this temple, the bulldozer hit a rock and stopped. At that time, when the people there wondered why this had happened, they found the feet of the Swamy on a rock. The devotees were amazed as they saw footprints as if they had walked and come, and they thought that God himself had descended. The God at the Temple: A few years ago, “a devotee visited Adivaraha Swamy and prayed that if his wishes were fulfilled, he would build a temple for the Swamiji.” As the devotee’s wish came true, the Swamiji constructed the temple for Adivaraha Swamy at his own expense. The devotee then saw the Swamiji appear in his dream and tell him not to build a temple or a tower like mine, and that he would always be outside. The devotee decided to build the temple. It is a deep belief that the wishes made in this place will definitely come true. As the faith in this place has spread from all over the Telugu states, devotees come to visit Adivaraha Swamy not only from our Telugu states but also from other states and regions. Due to the abundance of food items requested by devotees, devotees regularly perform food distribution programs in the presence of the Lord. దశావతరాల్లో వరహ అవతారం ప్రసిద్ధమైంది. వరహవతారంలో జల ప్రళయంలో చిక్కుకున్న ఈ భూమండలాన్ని తన కోరల మీద ఆ ఆది దేవుడు రక్షించాడని పురాణాలు చెబుతున్నారు. ఆలాంటి వరహవతరానికి సంబంధించిన విగ్రహాలు మన తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో ఒకే ఒక చోట మత్రమే ఉన్నది. అది పెద్దపల్లి జిల్లాలోని కమాన్ పూర్ మండల కేంద్రంలో ఉంది. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం విగ్రహం పెరుగుతూ ఉండడం ఇక్కడి విశేషం. దశావతరాల్లో వరహ అవతారం ప్రసిద్ధమైనది. విశ్వమంతా జలమయమైన సమయంలో మహాసురుడు హిరణ్యాక్షుడు భుదేవిని చాపగా చుట్టి సముద్ర గర్భంలో దాక్కున్నప్పుడు ఆమెను ఉద్ధరించడం కోసం మహావిష్ణువు ఆదివరహ రూపాన్ని ధరించి ఆ హిరణ్యాక్షుడిని వధిస్తాడు. భూదేవిని సంరక్షిస్తాడు. ఆదినారాయణుడి ఆవతారాల్లో ఇది మూడవది. సృష్టి కార్య నిర్వహరణలో జీవజాలం సంపూర్ణ భూచరంగా మారిన పరిణామానికి ఇది సంకేతం. వరహస్వామికి మన దేశంలో ఆలయాలు చాల తక్కువ. మన తెలుగు రాష్ట్రలలో కేవలం రెండు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఆదివరాహస్వామి విగ్రహాలు దర్శనమిస్తాయి. అందులో ఒకటి తిరుమల, తిరుపతి దేవస్థానంలో ఉండగా మరోకటి పెద్దపల్లి జిల్లా కమాన్ పూర్ మండల కేంద్రంలో ఉండడం విశేషం. తిరుమలలో ప్రధమ పూజలను వరహస్వామి అందుకుంటున్నాడు. కలియుగ ప్రారంభంలో శ్రీవారు లక్ష్మిదేవిని వెతుక్కొంటూ వైకుంఠం నుంచి భూమికి దిగి వచ్చినప్పుడు వరహస్వామి ఆయనకు ఆశ్రయమిచ్చారని పురాణ కథనం. అందుకు ప్రతిగా తిరుమలను సందర్శించే భక్తులు తొలుత వరహస్వామిని ధర్శించాకే తనను దర్శిస్తారని వరమిచ్చారట. తిరుమలలో వరహస్వామి ఆలయం తరువాత.... మళ్ళీ పెద్దపల్లి జిల్లా కమాన్ పూర్ లో ఒక బండరాయిపై ఆదివరహస్వామి విగ్రహం వెలిసింది. చారిత్రాత్మకంగా ప్రసిద్ధి చెంది దైవత్వానికి ప్రత్యక్ష రూపంగా వెలసిన ఈ స్వామివారి దర్శనార్ధం తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలు మరియు ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల నుండి అశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు వస్తూ ఉంటారు. పెరుగుతున్న విగ్రహం: వరాల సిద్ధిగా.... జిల్లాకు తూర్పు దిశగా గత త్రిదశాబ్దాల క్రితం ఒక బండరాయిపై చిన్న ఎలుక ఆకారములో స్వామి వెలిశాడు. అప్పటినుండి ఇంతింతై వటుడింతై అన్నట్లు విగ్రహం పెరుగుతూనే ఉంది. ఈ బండపై కొలువుదీరిన విగ్రహంపై వెంట్రుకలు కనబడటం మరొక అరుదైన విషయం. ఆదివరాహస్వామి నడిచి వచ్చిన పాదాల ఆనవాళ్ళు కూడా పక్కనే ఉన్న మరో బండ పై దర్శనమిస్తాయి. ఐతే ఇది సాక్షాత్తు ఆ దేవుని ప్రత్యక్ష రూపంగా శాసనాల హితువు. స్వామి వారి వద్ద నిత్యం అభిషేకాలు, అర్చనలు, మరియు ప్రత్యేక్ష పూజలు చేస్తుంటారు. స్థలపురాణం: స్థలపురణాన్ని పరిశిలిస్తే 600ల సంవత్సరాల క్రితం ఒక మహర్షి ఇదే స్థానంలో తపస్సు చేస్తుండగా ఆయన కలలో ఆదివరాహస్వామి ప్రత్యేక్షమై మహర్షి కోరికను తెలుసుకోగోరారట. అత్యంత ప్రీతితో భక్తి సంద్రంలో మునిగి ఉన్న ఆ మహర్షి "స్వామి.... మీరు ఇక్కడే వెలసి ఎలాంటి ఆపద రాకుండా నిత్యం కనులార కాపాడుతూ వారికి సకల సుఖ శాంతులు కల్పించాలని "కోరడంతో ఒక బండరాయిలో స్వామివారు వెలిసినట్లు శాసనాలు చెప్తున్నాయి. వరాల స్వామి: గత 50 సంవత్సరాల నుండి ఈ స్వామి వారి వద్ద నిత్యం పూజలతో పాటు అభిషేకాలు చేస్తుంటారు. హరాల స్వామిగా భక్తులు కొలుస్తుంటారు. ఇక్కడ మొక్కులు తీర్చుకున్న వారికి వరాలు ఇస్తారని అందుకే వరాల స్వామిగా ఘనతకెక్కింది. గతంలో ఈ ఆలయాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు సమీపంలో ఉన్న సింగరేణి సంస్థ బుల్డోసరుతో చదును చేస్తుండగా ఒక బండరాయికి ఆ బుల్డోసరు తగిలి ఆగిపోయింది. ఆ సమయంలో అక్కడి వారు ఎందుకిలా జరిగిందంటూ పరిశీలిస్తే ఒక బండరాయిపై స్వామి వారి పాదాలు ప్రత్యక్షమయ్యాయి. అవి నడిచి వచినట్లు పాదాల ఆనవాళ్ళు ఉండడంతో భక్తులు హతాశులై సాక్షాత్తు దేవుడే దిగివచినట్టు కొలుస్తున్నారురాల గుడి వద్దన్న దేవుడు : గత కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల క్రితం “ఒక భక్తుడు తను కోరుకున్న కోరికలు తిరితే స్వామివారికి మందిరం నిర్మిస్తానని ఆదివరాహస్వామిని సందర్శించి మొక్కుకోగా ” ఆ భక్తుని అలా తాను అనుకున్నది అనుకున్నట్టే సవ్యంగా జరగడంతో స్వామి వారికి మొక్కిన మొక్కు ప్రకారం ఆ ఆదివరాహస్వామికి తన స్వంత ఖర్చులతో మందిరం దీనిని కనికరించి కరోజు ఆ భక్తునికి కలలో స్వామి వారు ప్రత్యక్షమై నాకెలాంటి మందిరంగాని, గోపురంగాని నిర్మించవద్దని, తానూ ఎల్లవేళలా బయటనే ఉంటానని చెప్పడంతో భక్తుడు మందం నిర్మాణాన్ని ఎంమించుకున్నాడు. ఈ క్షేత్రంలో కోరిన కోరికలు తప్పక నెరవేరుతాయని ప్రగాఢ విశ్వాసం. ఈ క్షేత్రంపై ఉన్న విశ్వాసం తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నలుమూలల వ్యాపించడంతో మన తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నుంచే కాక ఇతర రాష్ట్ర, ప్రాంతాల నుండి కూడా భక్తులు ఆదివరాహస్వామిని దర్శించుకోవడానికి వస్తున్నారు. భక్తుల కోరిన కొరికలు తిరడం వలన స్వామి వారి సన్నిదానంలో నిత్యం అన్నదాన కార్యక్రమాలు భక్తులు చేయుచున్నారు.
