- Temple History This is one of the oldest Lakshmi Durga Ammavari temples in the Ameerpet area. Walking towards Balkampet, the temple appears on the left side of the road. The temple is believed to be around 30 years old and is located very close to both the Ameerpet Bus Station and Ameerpet Metro Station. Devotees travelling by metro can get down at Ameerpet and walk to the temple with ease. When visiting this temple, devotees can also explore several nearby temples in Ameerpet and surrounding areas, including Shirdi Saibaba Temple, Hanuman Temple, Shiva Temple, Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Ameerpet X Roads, Lakshmi Temple in Ameerpet, Kesari Hanuman Temple in Begumpet, Kanaka Durga Temple, and the famous Balkampet Yellamma Temple.
