- Temple History This ancient Swayambhu temple, over 800 years old, showcases beautiful and traditional South Indian architecture. The main deity, Lord Ranganatha Swamy, is truly divine, and the darshan feels soothing and fulfilling. The idols are gracefully decorated, especially during festivals and weekends. The temple features a west-facing idol and houses a rock-carved Ranganatha Swamy statue under a massive boulder, making it one of the oldest and most unique temples dedicated to the deity. The campus also includes a rock-carved Hanuman statue, a Shiva idol, and a sacred Peepal tree (Ashwatha Vruksha).
