During the 17th century, the temple flourished under the patronage of Akkanna and Madanna, the influential Brahmin ministers of the Qutb Shahi court. Their efforts in renovating the shrine and institutionalizing the Vaikhanasa Agama rituals—the same strict protocols followed in Bhadrachalam—elevated the temple's status. 🌹Sri Rama Navami: The "Brahmotsavam" of the temple. The Sita Rama Kalyanam is performed in the night around 10 PM . Kalyam performed after Bhadradchalam Thousands of devotees gather to witness the wedding, which mirrors the grandeur of the Bhadrachalam ceremony.
🌹Vaikunta Ekadasi: The temple features a specially decorated Vaikunta Dwaram. Devotees wait in long queues starting from 3:00 AM for the Uttara Dwara Darshanam.
🌹Dhanurmasam: Throughout this holy month, Thiruppavai is recited, and special Alankaram (decorations) are made for the deities.
