- Temple History Shri Mata Pochamma Devi Temple, located in Mettuguda, Secunderabad, has a rich and long-standing history. A small idol of Amma was first installed in 1902, marking the early beginnings of worship at this sacred site. The initial construction of the temple took place in 1922, followed by the first major reconstruction in 1935. Later, a secondary reconstruction was carried out, during which the grand idol of Amma was installed on 17 June 2009, enhancing the spiritual prominence of the temple. This temple is regarded as one of the oldest Ammavari temples in the Mettuguda area and continues to be an important center of devotion for local residents and devotees.
