- Temple History This temple is located in Sundilla village of Kamanpur mandal, Karimnagar district. The stone inscriptions near the temple indicate that this temple was built by the Kakatiya dynasty in the 13th century AD. The temple is only 12 km. away from the Godavari river. This temple is very famous for facing south. Sri Swami is in the form of Yogananda. Although this idol is made of sandstone, one side is red and the other side is black. This temple used to have a small pond in the northeast direction and a large pond in the southwest direction. Over time, the pond in the northeast has dried up. Today, all the villagers say that the water in this pond is as sweet as coconut water. The donors built a large hall at that place for the convenience of the devotees of Sri Swami by collecting the Koneru in the southwest direction. There is an ancient temple 200 yards to the northeast of the temple, the ruins of the temple are still there, there are also stone inscriptions related to the temple, although such inscriptions seem to be in Telugu script, the order of the letters is not correct and the common man does not understand them, these inscriptions have also been studied by the Archaeological Department. Some time ago, in accordance with the wishes of the devotees, the temple authorities installed Sri Lakshmi Amma. Since then, it has been known as Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. 50 yards to the west of this temple is the Sri Rajarajeshwara temple belonging to the Kakatiya period and 100 yards away. Sri Anjaneyaswamy temples are located. The temple of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy is located 2 fargangs to the east. After this temple came under the control of the Endowment Department, the committee managers and executive officers worked hard and with the cooperation of devotees and donors, built rooms suitable for living for the convenience of the devotees, and a mandapam for the welfare of the Swami. A large hall was built for the collective performance of the vows of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy, which are held in the temple of the Swami, and water facilities are available for the convenience of the devotees, and toilets have also been built for the convenience of the devotees. Every year, during the month of Dhanurmasam, a week-long Bhajana program is held in this temple, during which time, food distribution is done for eight days and Harinamasmarana is performed continuously until the week ends. Every year, in the month of Phalguna, the marriage ceremony of Sri Swamy is performed. Since this temple is close to the industrial area, it has good transport facilities. There are morning buses from Godavarikhani and autorickshaws also ply to the village. ఈ దేవస్థానము కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా, కమాన్పూర్ మండలములోని సుందిల్ల గ్రామములోగలదు. ఈ దేవాలయము క్రీ.శ.13 వ శతాబ్దము లో కాకతీయ రాజ వంశ స్థులు నిర్మించినట్లు దేవాలయమునకు దగ్గరనే ఉన్న శిలా శాసనముల ద్వారా అర్ధమవుతుంది. దేవాలయము గోదావరినదికి కేవలము 12 కి.మి. దగ్గరగానున్నది. ఈ దేవాలయము దక్షిణాభిముఖముగానుందుట చాల ప్రశస్తము. శ్రీ స్వామి వారు యోగానంద స్వరూపుడై ఉన్నాడు. ఇట్టి విగ్రహము ఇసుక రాతితో మలచినదైనను ఇరు పార్శ్వములు ఒకవైపు ఎరుపు. ఒక వైపు నలుపు కలిగియుండుట ఆశ్చర్యముగా నుండును. ఈ దేవాలయమునకు ఈశాన్య దిశయందు చిన్నగా ఒక కోనేరు మరియు నైరుతి దిశలో ఒక్క పెద్ద కోనేరు ఉండెడిది. కాలక్రమేణా ఈశాన్యమున నున్న కోనేరు కూడుక పోయినది.ఈ కోనేరు యందలి నీరు కొబ్బరి నీరువలె తీయగా ఉండెడివనినేటికి గ్రామప్రజలందరూ చెప్పుకొంటారు. నైరుతి దిశలో నున్న కోనేరునుకూడ్పించి అట్టి స్థలములో శ్రీ స్వామి వారి భక్తులు సౌకర్యార్ధము పెద్ద హాలును దాతలు నిర్మించినారు. దేవాలయమునకు ఈశాన్య భాగాంలో 200 గజముల దూరమ్ములో పురాతన దేవాలయము ఉన్నట్లు ఆలయశిధిలాలు నేటికి ఉన్నవి, అచ్చటనే దేవాలయానికి సంబంధించిన శిలా శాసనాలు కూడా ఉన్నవి, అట్టి శాసనాలుతెలుగు లిపి మాదిరిగా అనిపించినను అక్షర క్రమము సరిగా సామాన్యులకు అర్ధము కాకుండా ఉన్నది, ఇట్టి శాసనాలను పురావస్తు శాఖ వారు కూడా పరిశిలించినారు. గత కొద్ది కాలము క్రితము భక్తుల కోరిక నను సరించి దేవస్థానము వారు శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ అమ్మ వారిని ప్రతిష్ట చేసినారు. నాటి నుండి శ్రీ లక్ష్మీనరసింహస్వామి వారిగా ప్రసిద్ది చె ందినారు ఈ దేవాలయమునకు పశ్చిమమున 50 గజాల దూరంలో కాకతీయుల కాలమునకే చెందిన శ్రీరాజరాజేశ్వర దేవాలయము మరియు 100 గజాముల దూరమున . శ్రీ ఆంజనేయస్వామి దేవాలయములుగలవు. తూర్పున 2 ఫర్గాంగుల దూరములో శ్రీమల్లికార్జునస్వామిదేవాలయము కలిగి యుండుట ఇచ్చటి ప్రాశస్త్యము. ఈ దేవాలయము దేవాదాయ ధర్మాదాయ శాఖ అధీనములోకి వచ్చిన తదుపరి కమిటి నిర్వాహకులు మరియు కార్యనిర్వాహణాధి కారులు శ్రమించి భక్తుల, మరియు దాతలు,సహకారంతో భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్ధము నివాస యోగ్యమగు గదులను, మరియు స్వామి వారికి కళ్యాణము గురించి మండపము, నిర్మింపచేసినారు స్వామి వారి దేవాలయంలో జరుగు శ్రీ సత్య నారాయణ స్వామి వారి వ్రతములు చేసుకొనుటకు సామూహికంగా వ్రతములు జరుపు కొనుటకు గాను పెద్ద హాలును నిర్మించినారు,భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్దము ధారాళబుగా నీటి వసతి కలిగియున్నది, మరియు భక్తుల వసతి గురించి మరుగు దొడ్లు కూడా నిర్మించబడినవి. ఈ దేవాలయములో ప్రతి సంవత్సరము ధనుర్మాసము సందర్భముగా పుష్యమాసమునందు భజన సప్తాహము కార్యక్రమము జరుపబడును, ఆ సందర్భముగా ఎనిమిది రోజులు నిత్యఅన్నదాన కార్యక్రమము సప్తాహము ముగియు నంత వరకు నిరంతరము హరినామస్మరణ జరుపబడును. ప్రతి సంవత్సరము ఫాల్గుణమాసమందు శ్రీస్వామి వారు కళ్యాణము బ్రహ్మోత్సవములు జరుపబడును. ఇట్టి దేవాలయము పారిశ్రామిక ప్రాంతమునకు దగ్గరగా నున్నందున రవాణా సౌకర్యములు చాలా కలిగివున్నవి. గోదావరిఖని నుండి ఉదయము బస్సు సౌకర్యము కలదు మరియు ఆటోరిక్షాలు కూడా గ్రామమునకు నడుచుచుండును
