- Temple History After visiting the Knachi , Mr. Nyapati Rama Rao expressed his desire to build a small Mandiram (temple) for daily prayers near his house. Kanchi Seer Sree Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamiji, predicted that at that time the village of Kondapur, which was an Aranya(forest), would become jan-aranya in the future and asked Mr. Rao to construct the temple there Mr. Rama Rao purchased 7 acres of land in Kondapur in 1972 and collected personal funds to construct Lord Rama's Temple in order to fulfill this instruction from Swamiji. In 1982, the temple foundation was laid by Paramacharya. Construction of the temple took fourteen years, exactly the time Lord Rama spent in exile. Lord’s Temple was consecrated on April 06, 1996. Sri Ekambareswarar (Lord Shiva) and his consort Kamakshi (Parvati), Lord Ganesh, Lord Subhramanya and Sri Adisankara temples are in this temple complex . There is a temple for Paduka also.
