- Temple History Located about 40 km from Hyderabad, Sri Shanaishchara Swamy Temple, Madanapally (Shamshabad) is considered one of the largest and most prominent Shani temples in the world. The temple was constructed in 2012 on a vast 3-acre campus, making it a major spiritual landmark in the region. A unique feature of this temple is the presence of a small Shani Vigraham positioned in front of the grand main Shani statue, symbolizing humility and devotion before the powerful deity. The main Shani Swamy idol stands at an impressive height of approximately 12.5 feet and is worshipped along with Jeshta Mata, highlighting the traditional Shani worship lineage. In front of the main deity, the fierce guardian deities Chandi and Prachanda are installed, adding to the spiritual intensity and protective energy of the temple.
