- Temple History This is famous Bada Ganesh in Hyderabad. Every year big ganesh idol will be placed for 11 days . This tradition is continuing from 71 years. This year Ganesh idol height is 69 foot . In 2025 , Ganesh idol is in Sri Vishwa Santhi Maha Shakthi Ganapathi . The 69-feet tall Sri Vishwa Santhi Maha Ganapathi idol in Khairatabad was decorated after the installation work was completed. On both sides of Big Ganepathi there are other idols also placed in the mandapam. Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari , Sri Gajjalamma Devi, Sri Jagannatha Swamy , Sri Lalshmi Sametha Hayagreeva Swamy. Khairatabad Ganesha has a history of about seven decades. In 1954, a local devotee named Singari Shankaraiah installed a one-foot-tall Ganapati idol in the local temple and offered mass worship. So.Till 2014, every year the height of the statue was increased by one foot. In 2019, a 61-feet tall Ganapati was made, making it the tallest statue in India.
