- Temple History Very beautiful temple which is 800+ years old. One of the beautiful temples of Pillalamari village. It is around 400 mtrs away from Erakeshwara Temple. The compound has two temples, out of which one is used for prayers. It has four ornate pillars and a big linga. The other temple has three shivlingas and a nandi, and looked like to be in a restoration phase. There is a granite pillar outside with old inscriptions.. Located on the banks of the Musi River, this temple was built in 1202 by Namireddy, who belonged to the Racher family of the Sudra caste that ruled the region. They worked as landlords of Kakatiyas This temple is one of the four stone and granite temples in the village of Pallamarri, which collapsed as a major city during the Kakatiya period in the early 2nd millennium. Chennakesavaswamy, Trikuteswara and Erakeswara temples are nearby In 1202, Namireddy, who belonged to the Rachar family, who served as vassals to the Kakatiyas, built this temple.
