- Temple History This is one of the oldest and well-known Durga Mata temples located in Ayyappa Society, and it holds a special place among local devotees. The temple is visually colorful and offers a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place for prayer and devotion. Inside the temple, devotees can also worship Sai Baba and Lord Shiva, with a sacred Shiva Linga installed for which abhishekam is regularly performed. Despite the temple having a compact space, it is very well maintained. Fridays usually witness a larger crowd, as many devotees visit on this auspicious day. The morning and evening hours are considered the best times to visit and offer prayers to Goddess Durga. The temple is conveniently located about 700 meters from Durgam Cheruvu Metro Station. While traveling from Madhapur towards Ayyappa Society, the temple can be seen on the left-hand side of the road, making it easy for visitors to locate. Bonalu and Dasara festivals are celebrated here with great devotion and enthusiasm, attracting devotees from surrounding areas.
